It is the mission of NYAA Field Hockey to provide a safe, positive environment in which participants can develop sound fundamentals and learn how to properly play the game of field hockey through regular practice sessions and fun, friendly competitive opportunities.  
Goal 1- Develop awareness and participation for the league, providing opportunities for players in Grades 1-6 in a previously under served community.          
Goal 2- Properly educate coaches, so they can in turn provide proper education for players to ensure the players develop sound fundamental skills.  
Goal 3- Foster relationships with other area youth field hockey leagues, to provide for a greater opportunity for a more varied and consistent competitive situation
